General mra fundraising DONATIONS

You can donate via our online form or other methods outlined below.

If you donate via another method and would like it credited to the Class Challenge, please email our VP and Treasurer.

FACILITY DONATIONS

You can donate to the facility in our form below by selecting “Facility Campaign” in the Special Event drop-down towards the bottom.

We are accepting donations pledged through 2028, allowing our supporters to contribute to a greater degree than usual. You can set up recurring donations in the form below (monthly, quarterly, or annually) in addition to our standard one time donations. You can also reach out to Wes Vear with questions about multi-year commitments.

Another great way to support the team is by rallying your fellow alumni and parents to support this incredible opportunity. Feel free to reach out to Wes, Lake, or Jeff about how best to encourage your teammates.

About to donate? Hang on a sec! Our payment processor offers a flat fee of $0.23 for ACH bank transfers. You only need your routing and checking account numbers for the form below. They charge 2.49% for credit cards, which adds up quickly. If you really need those points, we totally get it. We just ask that you consider covering the transaction fee in the form.

  • Curious whether your employer offers matching donations? Many employers do! You can check to see if your company matches HERE

    If you are expecting a match from your company, make sure you indicate so in our online form as well as email bothvp@michiganrowingassociation.org and treasurer@michiganrowingassociation.org.

  • MRA's federal tax ID number is 38-2424611. Ideally the DAF should include a note that it is to be put toward the Facilities fundraising.

  • If you would like to donate securities directly to MRA, please email vp@michiganrowingassociation.org for instructions.

    Gifts of publicly traded securities that have appreciated in value allow you to avoid capital gains taxes while also receiving a tax deduction for your gift.

    MRA benefits by selling the stock without paying taxes on the gain, and you benefit from making a contribution that would be larger than what you might have been able to donate through other means.
