The TEam
The Michigan Men’s Rowing Team is made up of close to one hundred hard working, dedicated, and disciplined men and women at the University of Michigan. The team has athletes in all academic fields. A 13 year American Collegiate Rowing Association winning streak with a team made up of mostly walk-on athletes is a true testament to the level of commitment and perseverance our athletes exemplify. The Michigan Rowing team was founded in 1976, and has been led by Head Coach Gregg Hartsuff since 1994. Read the essay “How it All Began” Written by club founder Robert Verbrugge to learn more about the founding and history of the club.
